Ponte di roma is an interlock fabric which is a type of double knit fabric. Double knit fabricconsists oftwo layers of fabric knitted together with two needles. Ponte di roma is a thick fabric with a smooth surface. It has a full drape and more structurethan a standard single cotton jersey.
